Tell Us Your Pickle Stories!
During our Tourism Industry Ambassador Training we show the customer service DVD “Give ’em a Pickle!” to encourage great customer service. Pickles are those special or extra things people do to make customers happy. We want to hear about the great customer service you provide. Stories should provide a brief profile of the staff, the business and a short paragraph about the “pickle”. Selected Pickle stories we will be featured in our upcoming Tourism E-News and will receive a pickle prize. We look forward to receiving your stories and awarding a pickle prize.
Pickle Prize donations of tickets to attractions and events, restaurant coupons, and local products are welcomed from our local partners. These prizes encourage recipients to visit local facilities to become more aware of your services and in turn refer visitors to you. Contact us to make a prize donation.
Annual Tourism Pickle Awards
This award was created to recognize non-supervisory staff working in Tourism related businesses that consistently demonstrate exemplary customer service – over and above the excellent customer service that is expected in the job. Tourism Burlington has purchased a series of customer service DVD’s by Bob Farrell and they are available from our office. The “Pickle Series” includes Give ‘em a Pickle, What’s a Pickle, and Leadership Pickle. Being only 18 minutes in length, they are a great addition to your training session or staff meeting agenda.
