Part of the Machine: Rock & Pinball

Calling all pinball wizards and Rock ‘n Roll fans! Joseph Brant Museum is currently home to a special exhibition called Part of the Machine: Rock & Pinball, curated by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. It’s a hands-on display featuring vintage pinball machines that visitors can play! The machines represent the genre’s original energy and excitement, loud and flashy. Pinball machines can adapt to every skill level, so it’s fun, whether you’re a high scorer or not.

You’ll find pinball machines featuring The Who, The Beatles, KISS, Metallica, Dolly Parton, Elton John, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith and others. The exhibition is included with regular Museum admission, $10/adult, $8/senior and student, $6/child, 2 and under are free.

The exhibition also features items associated with some of the acts featured on the games, the centerpiece of which is a drum set used by Peter Criss of KISS. There’s also the electric chair prop used on stage by Alice Cooper, a Dolly Parton dress that inspired the depiction on the back glass of her pinball machine, and a display featuring smaller Beatles and Elvis Presley collectibles.

 Visit the gift shop for some retro rock inspired merchandise for your rock and roll fans! The exhibition is for a limited time, until January 12, so see it before it’s gone.
