Lee Knight - Professional Football Player
Knight played high school football at Lord Elgin (now Robert Bateman) and the Burlington Braves, where he was an all-star wide receiver, and eventually became only one of two Braves to have his number retired. Playing for the Hamilton Ti-Cats, Knight was a slot receiver, running back and sometimes a place kicker, and played in Hamilton’s 1989 Grey Cup game. He was inducted into the Tiger-Cats Walk of Fame in 2006 and is a board member on the Tiger-Cat Alumni Association. Following his football career, Knight works for Peel Region Police Service and has coached basketball and football in Burlington.
