Idle Sons - Rock Band

Idle Sons was established by a group of childhood friends from Burlington.  Under the name Slurpymundae the band released a three-song demo with the help of local band Finger Eleven. They were soon signed to Atlantic Records, but were dropped when the label merged with an internet company. After years of writing and touring independently, they signed a deal with EMI Canada, releasing the album Sixteen Seasons which combined a number of songs and jam sessions. Although Idle Sons has since disbanded, they achieved strong success at a national scale, receiving Juno and Canadian Radio Music Award nominations.
