Harry Clark - Curling
Although an avid curler, Harry is most famous for his never ending contribution to the growth of curling. His efforts in promoting the sport spanned for more than four decades until his death in 2005. He played a major part in bringing major curling events to the area, was integral in the formation of the Hamilton and Area Curling Association and also helped in the birth of the Little Rock Bonspiel program for children. In 2006, HACA honoured him by naming an event the “HACA Harry Clark Memorial Little Rock Bonspiel”, now the largest Little Rock Bonspiel in Canada. Harry passed away in 2005 and was inducted into the Burlington Sport Hall of Fame in 2011.
