Graham Hood - Olympian-Track & Field

Graham Hood is a Burlington native and retired track and field athlete. He attended Nelson High School, began competitive running with Burlington Track and Field Club and played rep soccer for many years as a youth.  He starred on the Arkansas Razorback team where Hood helped them win multiple NCAA titles in cross-country, indoor and outdoor track while on their way to winning a record 41 national championships. He competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympics and also won the gold medal in the men’s 1500 metres at the 1999 Pan American games.  In 2015 he was inducted into the Burlington Sports Hall of Fame. Graham Hood now participates in triathlons.
