Burlington Comedy Festival
Inaugural Burlington Comedy Festival Lineup set to Bring a Whole Lot of Funny.
The first ever Burlington Comedy Festival is busy getting set to have you rolling on the floor laughing (ROFL-ing to those of you on the interwebs), celebrating the best of stand-up comedy and bringing the unique talents of acclaimed performers to town February 29-March 2 2016.
The festival welcomes triple Gemini and Canadian Comedy Award winner, actor/comedian AND Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan Seán Cullen to the stage. Cullen, who’s described in Time Magazine as the “vanguard of comedy’s next generation”, began his comedy career in musical comedy group Corky and the Juice Pigs (yes, that’s the actual name) and has gone on to make multiple appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and CBSs The Late Late Show. Cullen also has a number of his own specials including Comedy Central Presents, Comedy Now and was a finalist on NBCs Last Comic Standing. He starred as Max Bialystock in the Canadian production of Mel Brooks runaway musical hit The Producers, wrote and starred in his own series The Sean Cullen Show on CBC, and is a regular guest star on The Comedy Networks Match Game. This guy’s got chops!
It is literally impossible to categorize Cullen, whose style of entertaining includes comedy, improv, music, and a flair for drama. 2016 Burlington Comedy Festival goers won’t want to miss Cullen and the rest of this stellar lineup, also featuring:
Pete Zedlacher, John Wing, Chad Daniels, Scoot Herring, Emily Galati, and Dwayne Perkins.
The Burlington Comedy Festival also partners with The Partnership West Food Bank, a non-profit volunteer organization ensuring over 700 Burlington residents in need receive food every single month. Please bring, or make a donation to The Partnership West Food Bank at each show!
Get ready to laugh Burlington!
