



Conservation Halton has 6 parks/areas that are winter wonderlands. You can board, ski and tube at Glen Eden, hike, snowshoe, and cross country ski at Mountsberg, Crawford Lake or Hilton Falls. Visit and take in the beauty of the views offered here.

Visit Burlington to participate in fun, family activities held all year round, many in picturesque park settings. From road races to sports tournaments to major community festivals Burlington is alive with activities. SpringOne of the first signs of spring is that various parks and conservation areas host maple syrup activities. Bronte Creek Provincial Park and Mountsberg Conservation Area celebrate the season throughout March with wagon rides, demonstrations, tours and of course pancakes! Spring is also blossom time with many great events planned at the world-renowned Royal Botanical Gardens including the Tulip, Lilac, Iris and Peony and Rose celebrations. SummerSummer kicks off in June with a Fine Art and Craft Festival with artists exhibiting their work. The Sound of Music is one of Ontario’s top 50 festivals and it features music all Fathers Day weekend. Canada Day celebrations on July 1st include musical entertainment, and a fireworks display. Just for kids, visit the Kite Festival in July or the Children’s Festival in August. Canada’s Largest Ribfest is held Labour Day weekend and features “ribbers”, music and much more. There are also many other events happening throughout the summer. FallFall is harvest time with many local farms running great family events. The Conservation areas and Bronte Creek Park provide guided walks, educational sessions which are great ways to see the beautiful fall colours. The are also a number of Thanksgiving and Halloween events that are fun for young and old. WinterBurlington is a winter wonderland with events such as the Museum Candlelight Tours, the Christmas Parade, the waterfront Festival of Lights, New Years Celebrations and the Winter Carnival in January and February.
