Summer

Summer kicks off in June with a Fine Art and Craft Festival with artists exhibiting their work. The Sound of Music is one of Ontario’s top 50 festivals and it features music all Fathers Day weekend. Canada Day celebrations on July 1st include musical entertainment, and a fireworks display. Just for kids, visit the Kite Festival in July or the Children’s Festival in August. Canada’s Largest Ribfest is held Labour Day weekend and features “ribbers”, music and much more. There are also many other events happening throughout the summer.

Fall

Fall is harvest time with many local farms running great family events. The Conservation areas and Bronte Creek Park provide guided walks, educational sessions which are great ways to see the beautiful fall colours.  The are also a number of Thanksgiving and Halloween events that are fun for young and old.
